I won’t mince words here: Representation matters.

If we want to effect real, lasting change, we need to take a hard look at who is at the decision-making table in Washington — and whose voices are missing. Just look at Cheri’s impact on the North Carolina Supreme Court. It took her leadership as Chief Justice for the court to finally create a paid family leave policy.

Cheri Beasley is exactly the type of leader who we need fighting alongside us to pass legislation that addresses the real challenges facing working families today. On paid family leave, reproductive freedom, voting rights, and more, Cheri is someone that we can count on to be a voice for the people.

But she cannot win this race alone. CNN just ranked it as one of Democrats’ best chances to flip a seat, but Mitch McConnell’s super PACs are unleashing tens of millions of dollars to try to stop Cheri from winning.

I'm asking you myself to please have Cheri's back by making a donation of $3 or whatever you can afford today. Her July fundraising deadline is quickly approaching, and we have to make sure she has the resources to win.
