LET US KNOW ASAP: 

Friend, with mass shootings in Uvalde, Highland Park, Buffalo and more, 2022 has been filled with senseless loss and little hope for a brighter future when it comes to protecting our communities.  

Many of these mass shootings have been committed with military-style assault weapons, and while Congress passed historic gun legislation just over a month ago, they still haven't passed an assault weapons ban.

But friend, there is some good news: The House Judiciary Committee approved the first assault weapons ban bill to be voted on in 30 years. 

But Mitch McConnell and his GOP extremist colleagues in the Senate refuse to take a stand against the gun lobby, and without the Senate's stamp of approval, this measure to keep our communities safe WON'T pass. 

The majority of Americans support BANNING these weapons, but Mitch McConnell and the GOP prefer pandering to the gun lobby over saving American lives. We're running this official poll to send a strong message, friend, but we need 398 responses from xxxxxx before we reach critical mass:
