Hi John, it's Trudy. When I launched my campaign for Senate, I promised to lead with honesty. So I'm going to be honest with you here: We're up against a lot this November.

The GOP has countless deep-pocketed corporate lobbyists and extremist megadonors lining their pockets. Together, they have the power to obstruct meaningful legislation and spread hateful misinformation about our democracy. And they won't hesitate to use it. 

They also have truly powerful forces backing them – but what we have on our side is so much more important. We have a real commitment to doing what's right. We have compassion, kindness, and integrity. We have someone with the heart of a nurse working to give all families a fair chance. We have united grassroots power. And we have history on our side.

I know that we have what it takes to win on Election Day – but only if we all stand together as one united team against extremism, hate, and greed. That's why I'm emailing you today: We're still $10,281 short of our critical end-of-month goal, and we have less than 48 hours until our midnight deadline. With my primary election just three days away, we cannot afford to fall short or lose our momentum for even a moment.

The future of our democracy is on the ballot this November. So please, can I count on you to rush $5 or more before tomorrow's end-of-month deadline? I'm counting on your grassroots gift to get us across the finish line, John.
