Friend,

With less than 30 hours remaining until the calendar flips to August, guess what they're up to on Beacon Hill.

While the rest of us are spending a summer weekend with family and friends, Beacon Hill is at it again. They've waited until this weekend - the last weekend of legislative session - to figure out what to do with an old 1986 law passed by the voters that would bring some money back into your pockets if the state passed a certain revenue threshold.

Well, they're sitting on a mountain of your money, and that threshold has been passed. You'd think that since the voters passed this law that they'd respect it. You'd also be wrong. Here's House Speaker Ron Mariano on ignoring the people's will altogether:

“Sure, it’s an option. Everything’s on the table. We could undo the law, we could change it, we could postpone.”
This should not be up to the Democrats. It should be up to you. That's your money, and they're addicted to it.

We've got a golden opportunity to teach these people a lesson this fall. But we need a few patriots to step up. Again, I've set a goal to find at least 50 new donors by midnight tomorrow.

Will you be one of them? The clock is ticking!

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours,
