Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight recently called Pennsylvania's 8th District the most competitive House District in the entire country. Republicans think they have a real shot at defeating Matt, which is why Kevin McCarthy and his allies are pouring money into this race to prop up his extreme Republican opponent, Jim Bognet.

National Republicans already announced they're spending $2.7 million in this district to defeat Matt, and now, a GOP dark money group said they're spending $450,000 in attack ads against him. We need to reach our goal by midnight tomorrow to ensure we have the resources to fight back.
