Hello Colorado Republicans -

This week, Jared Polis and the Democrats decided to do a social media campaign claiming credit for your TABOR refund. Even though they work every year to repeal TABOR, raise your taxes, and create more fees, because it's election year, they're now campaigning on the "Colorado Cash Back" program.

But the $750 check you're about to get in the mail is money the government actually owes to you. It's yours. Not theirs to give away.

Let's make sure our friends and neighbors know the Democrats aren't being generous. They're simply doing what the law requires them to do -- a law they've fought against for years.

Our Vice Chairwoman Priscilla Rahn is sharing a great idea with people: When you get your $750 check in the mail, if you can, please donate it to our Republican candidates. We have so many excellent candidates running in key seats, and these kind of donations across the state will help them reach swing voters.

Our state legislative and State Board of Education candidates can receive $400 from each person. Our statewide candidates can receive $1250, and our Congressional and U.S. Senate candidates can receive $2900. If you need help identifying the candidates in your area so you can donate to them, please let us know! There's no shortage of choices -- especially when you also consider your county candidates.

Thanks for going the extra mile to elect Republicans!

Candidate of the Week: Dave Woolever for HD-61
[link removed]
I am running because I want to serve. It’s that simple. While I may be new to politics, I am not new to upholding the Constitution because it's the oath I took in serving in the United States Air Force. I believe our Founders envisioned that people of all walks of life would participate in civic engagement to serve our fellow Americans and therefore, I’m running to bring a balanced, centrist, objective, and common-sense approach to the legislative process. I believe we need more collaboration and a desire to place service before self in all things we do as elected officials. I'm asking for your support as we work together to make HD61 and all of Colorado an amazing place for everyone to live!

** Three GOP candidates for statewide races in Colorado meet voters in Edwards
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
Vail Daily: ([link removed]) Most statewide elections are decided by Colorado’s populous Front Range. But three challengers for state offices are racking up miles in the search for votes. Those candidates gathered Friday in Edwards.

Republicans Lang Sias, Pam Anderson and John Kellner spent some time at Etown to stake out their positions and answer questions from possible voters. All three candidates claimed their incumbent opponents have politicized their offices and pledged to stop the practice.

Pam Anderson is seeking to unseat current Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold. Anderson said Griswold has “put her thumb on the scale” regarding access to the political process, using regulations against conservative groups.

(Opinion) Kristi Burton Brown: Polis takes every opportunity to hurt rural Coloradans
[link removed]
Fort Morgan Times: ([link removed]) As someone who spent my teenage years growing up in rural Colorado, I understand that Jared Polis’ disregard for non-metro areas isn’t just wrong and offensive — it’s destructive.

Ask county commissioners from the Eastern Plains and they’ll tell you when Gov. Polis comes to their county, they don’t even get notified until the night before. He’s not interested in meeting with rural leaders; he just wants a photo op.

When the state’s top executive can’t be bothered to have a real conversation with the local leaders who understand real, on-the-ground needs, it’s no wonder that Colorado’s energy and agriculture industries are hurting.

Rural Colorado dads trying to provide for their families are having to take jobs that pay them $5,000 to $10,000 less just so they can save on gas ([link removed]) . Farmers and ranchers are paying triple the cost of fertilizer. Diesel prices ([link removed]) are astronomical, and generational family farms are at risk of shutting down if they can’t make it through the year.
