Our planet’s future has never been more uncertain. Faced with rising temperatures, surging sea levels, and worsening storms, the world our children are inheriting will look dramatically different than the one we grew up in.

Passing the Green New Deal and doing everything we can to save our planet from irreversible environmental disaster is at the top of my agenda in Congress. We don’t have the luxury of time to spend debating and stifling action—if we don’t change course within the next 12 years, we will no longer be able to escape the climate crisis.
