After a long day out on the campaign trail, I just learned that we are still $2,119 short of our July fundraising goal.

I would never ask you to dig deep if I didn’t have to, but with our massive end-of-month fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight, I wanted to reach out personally to ask: Will you pitch in a grassroots contribution to our campaign tonight, friend?

I can’t stress this enough: These numbers are not arbitrary. My finance team has run the numbers to determine the minimum amount we need to raise in order to afford the digital ads, voter education, and ground operation that we need to win.

And with just over 24 hours to go, we are still $2,119 short of that must-hit number.
