[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont
Hi there,
My name’s Miles and I’m the new Organizing Director for the Peter Welch
for Senate campaign.
As of today, there are only 10 days until the primary and only 100 days
until the midterm election, so I’ve got some ambitious goals, and even
more ambitious timelines.
Up to the primary and through the next 100 days, our team will be running
a statewide field program, hiring and training organizers, recruiting and
mobilizing hundreds of volunteers, and building relationships with local
constituency groups. Together this work is designed to build a grassroots
campaign that sends Peter Welch to the Senate so he can pass progressive
policies for Vermont.
It’s a lot and, I’ll be honest, we could use some help funding this
critical work. [ [link removed] ]Before our July deadline ends tomorrow, can you chip in
to help cover the cost of these organizing team needs?
Here’s a glimpse of what’s on our list:
1. 14 clipboards for the team leaders in every county in Vermont.
2. 100 pens for upcoming events where volunteers will ask their fellow
Vermonters to commit to vote.
3. Pancake mix and maple syrup for breakfast meetings Peter has with
constituents. (Who doesn’t love pancakes?)
4. Envelopes to send our reminders to vote.
5. A stapler for each field office; Peter has actionable plans for the
issues that matter most to Vermonters—plans that sometimes take up
many, many pages.
We’re not asking for your donations to go off and do something mysterious
with them. These are real needs for a hard-working field program.
These next 100 days will be a sprint, and my team needs all the help we
can get. [ [link removed] ]Please, pitch in before tomorrow’s deadline and help this
grassroots campaign reach as many voters as we can.
Thanks so much for your support,
Miles McGuriman, Organizing Director
Welch for Vermont
