You might know me as an author, but first and foremost I am an American and a Granite Stater. And my pride in my New Hampshire roots is why I am writing to you today.

In New Hampshire, we believe in freedom – it's right there in our state’s motto: Live Free or Die. But all of Maggie Hassan’s anti-choice opponents have made it crystal clear that they don’t believe in a woman’s freedom to control her own destiny. 

Without the protections of Roe v. Wade, it’s more important than ever that we elect pro-choice leaders like Maggie Hassan who will fight for a woman’s fundamental right to her own body and for the freedoms that Granite Staters, like me, care about most.
