Growing up, I got the chance to watch my father, a skilled union ironworker who also served in the New Mexico Legislature, fight for the things he knew were right and bring attention to the things he knew were wrong. He was an unwavering voice for the voiceless. 

When I made the decision to follow in my father's footsteps and begin a career of public service – first as the representative for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District, and now as your senator – I knew that giving a voice to the voiceless would be a priority in my own work as well. 

That's why I'm reaching out to you today with this survey. Please, will you take just 60 seconds now to share your top priorities and concerns with me so that I can keep your voice centered in my work?

Thanks to the feedback that I've received from supporters like you throughout my time in office, I've been able to focus on the issues that actually matter to New Mexicans: creating good-paying jobs, expanding quality health care throughout our state, preserving our stunning natural resources and sacred sites, building a thriving clean energy economy and uplifting the middle class. 

But, folks, as COVID-19, the climate crisis and more continue to unfold, I urgently need to know how your priorities have shifted. That's why my team put together this survey so that I can understand how to better fight for you and your loved ones, but it locks in just a few hours, and I'm still missing your response.
