When I first ran for Congress, I set out to build a campaign that was by and for the people of North Carolina — one that would deliver on promises and get work done. And together, that’s exactly what we’ve done.
We worked tirelessly to listen to the needs of the people of our state — from making healthcare more affordable to expanding funding for public education and building an economy that uplifts workers and their families. That’s how we flipped this seat blue for the first time in a decade.
Because of your support, I’ve been able to stay focused on the issues that matter most. Since I took my seat in Congress, I have introduced over 40 bills, amendments, and resolutions covering everything from affordable healthcare to reducing costs for working families — and I’m not finished yet.
Meanwhile, Republicans have made their attack on our rights clear as day. The overturning of Roe v. Wade is only the beginning of their plans to disempower everyday Americans, and they’re using every tool in their arsenal — including their megadonors and dark money connections — to try to buy the election in November and undo our hard work.
