John,

This November, the Democratic House majority is on the line. Pennsylvania's 8th District will be one of the closest and most important races in the country, so I'm reaching out to share why it's crucial we re-elect Matt Cartwright.

Throughout his career, Matt has stood up for working people – and he's gotten a lot done for them in Congress. He's helped pass legislation to provide COVID relief, lower the cost of prescription drugs, address the rising cost of gas, and so much more.

Matt knows there's still work to be done, and he's ready to keep fighting for Northeastern Pennsylvanians – but he needs our help.

Republicans only need to flip four seats to retake the House majority in November, and they've named Matt a top target. Election experts say PA-08 will be a "toss up," which is why national Republicans have already begun spending millions of dollars on ads attacking Matt and propping up his extreme Republican opponent.

The fate of the House majority could come down to what happens in PA-08, and with so much at stake in the midterm elections, we can't afford to lose Matt's voice in Congress. But Matt's counting on our support to help him take on national Republicans and his extreme opponent.

Will you chip in $5 or more before Matt's end-of-month fundraising deadline to help keep PA-08 and our House majority blue?
