Midterm elections are historically challenging, especially for the party in power. 

Political experts repeatedly place Michael among the top 10 most vulnerable Senators and Senate seats most likely to flip. Folks have called him the “accidental senator,” since he started serving, and he won his last midterm reelection race by just 1.7%. 

But none of this stopped Michael from working for Coloradans and families across the country. 

Michael has created more jobs in Colorado through infrastructure investments that will repair our roads and bridges. He cut taxes and lowered costs by securing funding for affordable housing, banning surprise medical bills, and extending the Child Tax Credit last year.

And with Republicans setting Michael as a top target, Mitch McConnell calling our opponent his “perfect candidate” and vowing to spend whatever it takes to win Colorado, they will do their utmost to flip his seat and retake the Senate majority.
