Team, I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that we did a great job in the second quarter at raising the funds to keep supporting the races that will determine control of the Senate in November.

The bad news is that the Republican opponents in these races had good quarters for fundraising as well.

We’re nearing the end of the month, and we need to keep posting rock-solid numbers to keep up and to keep the Senate blue.

There is so much on the line this November. If Democrats lose the Senate, progress will grind to a halt.

We won’t be able to continue working to strengthen reproductive rights in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to end Roe v. Wade. We won’t be able to take critical steps to combat climate change. We won’t be able to take the steps necessary to secure our elections.
