John,
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe, millions of people watched their rights vanish in front of them. Protecting abortion is now in the hands of state governments and the people we elect to lead them. But as Mainers came together to rally for reproductive rights, Paul LePage told us “I don’t have time for abortion.”
So what exactly does Paul LePage have time for then? Well, as governor he found plenty of time to speak at anti-abortion rallies and and fight to cut funding for reproductive services. LePage has plenty of time for reproductive care when he’s working to take it away from Mainers.
We deserve leaders we can count on to stand up and protect our basic rights and freedoms. Paul LePage is more interested in enacting an extreme agenda than helping us. Help us stop Paul LePage and chip in $5 to our end-of-month goals. [link removed]
It’s not just abortion. Paul LePage has plenty of time….for Paul LePage. After Roe, he ran away to his second home state of Florida to share cocktails and cigars with other radical Republican allies like Ron DeSantis.
LePage hasn’t changed one bit. He’s every bit as extreme and dangerous as he’s ever been. Take it from me, LePage makes time for what he cares about, not what’s best for Mainers.
Can you help us elect leaders across Maine that are willing to do what’s best for us — not a private agenda? Donate any amount you can towards our end-of-month goals. [link removed]
Thank you,
Drew Gattine
