Hi John, it’s Tedra Cobb. I wanted to write to you about my good friend, Josh Riley, and why his race in NY-19 is so important. But first, could you pitch in $5 or any amount to his campaign? The election is only a month away, and we need to keep up our pace in order for Josh to win.

John, Josh and I have a lot in common. We both have a deep commitment to Upstate New York and public service, we both got our start in health care advocacy, and we both chose to run for Congress because we believe Washington needs folks who are willing to roll up their sleeves and work for the people they serve.
Our opponents have a lot in common too. When Elise Stefanik first ran for Congress, she masqueraded as a moderate. She promised to support equal pay, cut healthcare costs, and protect Medicare. Instead, she voted against all of those things. Marc Molinaro is taking the same approach. He wants you to believe he is a practical moderate who will fight for our values. But just like his top supporter Elise Stefanik, Molinaro will be a rubber stamp for MAGA extremists and the far-right fringe.
This is all to say, John: Josh Riley is the right choice to move Upstate New York forward. He’s a true advocate for working families. In fact, he’s the only candidate running in NY-19, Republican or Democrat, who has pledged to never take a dime from corporate PACs. So he depends on grassroots supporters like you and me to pitch in what they can when they can - will you help Josh reach his end-of-month fundraising goal of $15,000 by pitching in $5, $10, or more right now?

The Cook Political Report has ranked this race a pure TOSS-UP and one of the most competitive districts in the country. This seat really could determine who controls the House come November, so we cannot sit idly by. I’ll humbly ask just once more, could you pitch in your first $5 to help send Josh to Congress to fight for working New Yorkers? Every dollar really does count.
Thank you,
Tedra Cobb
