Praise God for a conviction in a case of sexual violence against children in Kenya. Since 2016, IJM has been supporting a case against a children’s home director who used his position of power to sexually abuse the boys in his care. On Monday the judge issued a conviction in one of the cases against the director. Pray for this verdict to send a strong message that children in Kenya will be protected by the law and pray for the ongoing healing of the victims.
Latin America
Pray for the ability and means to support violence survivors in the journey to health and wholeness. As survivors heal and choose to share their stories, experiences, and voice to encourage other survivors and to bring change to their communities, pray that IJM is able to stand alongside them and serve to amplify their voices.
South Asia
Please pray for our teams adopting a new technology platform to track our casework. These systems make it so much easier for IJM and our partners to manage trafficking cases and gain deep insights about our work quickly and efficiently. But learning new technology is also hard! Pray that all our staff will feel comfortable with these new tools, that everything will work well, and that we can leverage technology to protect thousands more people from human trafficking.
Asia Pacific
Please pray for the country of the Philippines which was shaken by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake this week. Praise God all staff are safe and accounted for and please pray for relief to the communities impacted and structures damaged by the quake. Pray for quick rebuilding, for daily needs to be met, and for IJM casework to proceed as usual.

Praise the Lord for passing the bill to reauthorize funding and policies for the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act by the House of Representatives. Let us pray for continued engagement from decision-makers and for God to move them to help IJM’s mission and all the people in need for rescue and protection.
