Rising costs are a concern for so many, John.

Inflation is as high as it’s been in decades. Corporate greed, price gouging, the war in Ukraine, and supply chain issues from the pandemic are putting a strain on folks’ finances.

Our campaign can make do with less if it means that you’ll have a little extra breathing room. The number I care most about isn’t how much you contribute — it’s how many of you are pitching in together to keep this people-powered campaign moving forward.

Because the secret to growing our campaign isn’t by pressuring a small number of supporters to give more and more. It’s by building a movement of people and bringing new folks into our mission of bringing more love and hope to our politics.

(And of course, keeping Mitch McConnell from becoming majority leader).
