Their plan details dozens of actions, including expanding child care to support working families, collaborating with employers and labor organizations to prepare students for their careers, and expanding public-private partnerships to provide support for small business owners.?

Governor Walz Celebrates Minnesota Reaching Lowest Unemployment Rate of Any State ? Ever

Last week, Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development announced that Minnesota's unemployment rate hit 1.8%, making history with the lowest monthly unemployment rate that any state has ever reported. This comes just as Moody?s has rated Minnesota as AAA ? the highest rating achievable ? due to the state?s diverse economy and history of strong financial results.

Governor Walz, Lieutenant Governor Flanagan Celebrate the 32nd Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Governor Walz proclaimed Tuesday, July 26 as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Day to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the ADA and reflect on the strides Minnesota has made while recommitting to listening to and supporting Minnesotans with disabilities to build a more inclusive state.
*"On the 32nd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we honor those who fought tirelessly for true disability justice and recommit to creating a state where all Minnesotans with disabilities have access to the support they need to thrive,"* said Lieutenant Governor Flanagan.?
