Friend – a new poll has revealed that most Americans support stricter gun laws and believe that the government should do more to prevent mass shootings. In fact, 92% of Democrats support stricter gun laws.

The public support for commonsense gun reform is overwhelming, and the American people know that government action can save lives. And yet, Mitch McConnell and GOP extremists continue to block the most comprehensive proposals put forward by Biden and the Democrats because they're too afraid of losing the support of the gun lobby.

But President Biden is not. He's called for an assault weapons ban, a measure that many believe would significantly reduce mass shootings. We agree with President Biden, but we want to know what you think:
