John,

Last week, Governor Holcomb announced ANOTHER huge investment into Indiana’s
economy!

SkyWater Technology is set to build a $1.8 billion state-of-the-art
semiconductor research and development facility in partnership with Purdue
University in West Lafayette.

This exciting new venture will bring 750 new high-paying jobs to Tippecanoe
County and further bolster Indiana’s growing portfolio of HUGE investments.

Governor Holcomb joined Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers, Purdue
University President Mitch Daniels, and executives from SkyWater Technology to
make this announcement:

Governor Holcomb expanded on SkyWater’s partnership with Indiana:

“Days like today prove that Indiana’s investments in the economy of the
future, infrastructure and talent development are cultivating an environment
that enables innovators such as SkyWater to choose Indiana.

Our success and our mission to support industries of the future would not be
possible without the incredible partnerships with our globally ranked
universities, like Purdue University, helping us attract and retain quality,
innovative talent.” – Governor Holcomb

John, massive companies are flocking to Indiana under Governor Holcomb’s
leadership.

And earlier this week, Gov. Holcomb released a statement on the CHIPS-plus
bill that was passed by the U.S. Senate and House, a bill that will keep
America in the fast lane of the technology race and boost our country’s
competitiveness globally:

"Last week, SkyWater, a major supplier of semiconductors to the Department of
Defense, in partnership with Purdue University, announced a 600,000-square-foot
semiconductor research and development production facility in West Lafayette,
Indiana. The company’s ability to make an investment of this magnitude is
reliant upon the passage of CHIPS-plus and federal investment to boost this
critical industry sector. This exact legislation also invests in research at
our great universities, workforce programs and tech-hubs tailor-made for our
state.

"If the U.S. wants to be a leader in 21st century industries, semiconductors
must be our first objective." – Governor Holcomb

Here in Indiana, we are leading the way for American advancement.

Thanks,

Holcomb Crew
