Hi Friend,

Last week, our Texas Republican Congressional delegation proved yet again how far they are willing to go to take our state back to the dark ages. Nearly all of them voted against protecting access to contraception and same-sex marriage. In 2022, that's unacceptable.

Friend, Republicans will not stop until they roll back every ounce of progress we’ve made in the last generation. These white men are doing everything in their power to bring Texas back to a time when only people who looked like them were truly free.

Generations of activists and leaders have sacrificed their blood, sweat, and tears to secure many of the freedoms people of my generation have grown up taking as a given. Freedoms that are now under attack once again. If the reversal of Roe taught us anything, it’s that no freedom is too sacred to be taken away, too enshrined to be invulnerable.

Now it’s up to us to protect our right to family planning, to marry the person we love, to simply exist. And we can’t waste a single second. Will you rush $7 before our end-of-month fundraising deadline to vote out these bigots who don’t deserve to represent us in Congress?

Friend, I know the times we’re living in right now are scary. But Beto put it best when he said that action is the antidote to despair. We can’t give up. We need you with us now more than ever.
