Can we count on you to chip in $5 or more now to help hit our critical end-of-month fundraising goal and power our campaign to elect the first Black woman to represent Pennsylvania in Congress, John?
FIRST: During our primary election, Summer made history. In the final weeks leading up to our primary, corporate super PACs spent $4.5 million on attack ads, but our people-powered movement proved Pittsburgh is ready for Summer.
THEN: Republicans added PA-12 to the list of target races making it clear the GOP is ready to spend any amount to try and take control of this seat. In fact, during the last FEC reporting period, our Republican opponent's biggest donor was a PAC associated with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy.
NOW: We need to prepare for the attacks that will come our way before Election Day on November 8. Control of the House of Representatives is at risk, so we need to win this seat for Democrats and send Summer to Congress to join the progressive coalition including leaders like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Together, we can elect Summer and ensure she can get to work in Congress fighting for legislation like Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. But we need your help to make it happen.
