Last night’s Congressional Baseball Game:

Hakeem Jeffries for the People

John xxxxxx — Last night, I took part in one of my favorite annual traditions: the Congressional Baseball Game in Washington, DC.

It’s not just the opportunity to put our differences aside and play ball that I look forward to — we play to support charitable organizations who serve disadvantaged youth in the Washington, DC area. Last year’s game brought in more than $1.5 million for the Congressional Sports for Charity foundation!

Democrats put up a strong fight, but the Republican team got the better of us last night. That’s okay, John xxxxxx, because we’re just warming up to take the win when it really counts in November.

After eroding our democracy and threatening to take away our personal freedoms, the GOP’s proving they are too extreme to govern — and we need to strike them out in this year’s midterm elections.

Because losing will mean letting extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Matt Gaetz take back leadership positions in Congress — talk about a fearsome lineup…

Democrats need to swing for the fences if we’re going to defend our progress, defeat the cult, and deliver for everyday Americans. I’m ready to help lead our ranks to victory in November — but I need you on our team, now more than ever.

John xxxxxx, will you pitch in $5 to help Democrats claim victory when it matters most by defeating the GOP at the ballot box this year?
