Today, over a dozen Nevada Republicans formed a Republicans for Ford committee in a stunning rebuke of their own party’s nominee for state Attorney General, Sigal Chattah.
The group includes a former State Senate Republican Leader, and a dozen other lifelong Nevada Republicans.
These folks recognize what we’ve been saying from the start: Sigal Chattah is a dangerous extremist who is unqualified to represent our state. She is an adamant election denier, has said she wants to see Aaron “hanging from a f*cking crane”, and would prosecute and imprison women who seek abortion care.
Take it straight from former Nevada State Senate Republican Leader Michael Roberson, who told us: “I take no joy in saying that my own political party has nominated an unhinged election denier and charlatan to run against Mr. Ford. Now, more than ever, it is time to put duty to the state and country above partisan politics. If we care about the rule of law and the health of our democracy. If we care about Nevada. There really is only one choice for Nevada Attorney General. That person is Aaron Ford.”
This goes beyond party lines. Scary Sigal is the wrong choice for Nevada — which is why members of her own party are standing up and speaking out against her.
