Friend, until this week, I believed there might still be a handful of issues that transcended partisan politics. That is until 41 US Senators voted to block a bill that would provide lifesaving health care for 3.5 million veterans exposed to toxic burn pits, Agent Orange, nuclear exposure, and contaminated water.

I can think of no better example of the toxicity and brokenness of our politics. We know there are a lot of political email lists out there and your inbox will probably get flooded this weekend with disingenuous pleas for cash and the kind of guilt-trips that just make you feel worse about the state of our world. This is not that.

Friend, New Politics is building a movement to revitalize democracy itself and we need you to be there with us. Whether it’s through a contribution, nominating someone who you believe could make an impact, or by simply helping us spread the word about our mission. We need you.

If you're with us you can donate here now, and help us continue our work in putting people over politics.

We support outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
