Hi John,
You might be hearing folks talk about the upcoming Congressional August recess. If you’ve got questions, we’ve got you covered.
Each August, Congress takes a recess, creating time for Members of Congress to go home to their district and hear directly from constituents. It’s not the recess we had in school. Elected officials use this time to connect with their constituents.
Earlier this year, we met with over 70 Members of Congress. Now, we’re ready to meet with more leaders to voice our concerns about the alienation Iranian Americans face in the U.S.
We’re focusing on the discriminatory barriers, unjustified bank account closures, and delayed payments Iranian Americans are subjected to because of their heritage. Also, we’re fighting to end the unlawful turning away of mail to Iran and the bogus denial of qualified Iranian American job applications for federal government jobs.
And, we need your help! Sign up now to attend an in-district meeting or chip in to donate to our efforts. [[link removed]]

Together, we can raise our voices so our leaders hear us and finally take action.
