In just four days, voters in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District will cast a critical vote for the U.S.-Israel relationship as pro-Israel candidate Rep. Haley Stevens takes on Rep. Andy Levin.
AIPAC and the pro-Israel community are strongly supporting Rep. Stevens, an outspoken pro-Israel leader in the House also backed by Hillary Clinton, Rep. Brenda Lawrence and EMILY's List.
Levin consistently works to undermine the U.S.-Israel relationship and has led legislation that opens the door to adding political conditions on aid to Israel.
Ahead of Tuesday, I encourage you to read and share two important articles that came out this week highlighting AIPAC, the AIPAC PAC and United Democracy Project's involvement in both this crucial race and other important primary races this election season.
The first, in The Washington Post, says the Michigan-11 primary is "a test of the pro-Israel group’s clout in Democratic primaries, where, seven months into [UDP's] existence, it’s won all but one of the races it has played in."
The second, in Jewish Telegraphic Agency, quotes UDP Spokesman Patrick Dorton, "There was rising concern in the pro-Israel community about candidates for Congress who held radical anti-Israel views. What we’re trying to do is build the broadest bipartisan pro-Israel coalition in Congress possible."
Winning these races isn't just about defeating detractors, but also about strengthening the pro-Israel foundation in Congress.
Thank you for your leadership and support.
Sincerely,
Ed Miller

Arsen Ostrovsky, chair and CEO of the International Legal Forum, joined AIPAC to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Israel in the Middle East and in the international arena.
Arsen analyzed current efforts to delegitimize Israel, including through the U.N. Human Rights Council’s Commission of Inquiry and the BDS campaign, as well as current opportunities for the Jewish state following President Biden’s visit to the Middle East.
"Nobody should be shocked at what's coming out of this Commission of Inquiry, in terms of their anti-Israel bias, in terms of their antisemitism...What [U.N. Human Rights Commissioner Miloon Kothari said] is that Israel should have no place in the United Nations... He also presupposed a number of outcomes of this Commission of Inquiry, which is exactly what the Commission is not supposed to do. There was swift American reaction."
