Folks, last week Future Forum NRCC target Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07), along with the rest of Democratic Party, took the a critical step toward protecting access to abortion by pasing the Women’s Health Protection Act in the House.
Not a single Republican voted for this monumental piece of legislation meant to protect a woman’s right to reproductive freedom.
And that’s because the GOP has already made their intentions clear on the issue. If they take the majority, they will finish what the Supreme Court started in overturning Roe v. Wade and pass a nationwide abortion ban, eliminating a women’s right to choose in every single state across our country.
Team, like Rep. Fletcher said, not on our watch. This November, we cannot let Republicans take Congress and continue their assault on women’s rights.
