Are you an early childhood educator or family child care provider needing support with social, emotional, or behavioral needs in your program? Maine ECCP® can help!

Consultants have immediate availability to serve individual children or licensed child care programs in Aroostook, Androscoggin, Kennebec and York county.

Maine ECCP® is a no cost early childhood mental health consultation program available to licensed child care centers, licensed family child care providers, public schools, and afterschool programs who serve children 0-8 years old. ECCP® is an evidence-based consultation service designed to address the social-emotional needs of children age 0-8 in early care and education programs. ECCP® offers on-site strategies, support, staff training and education, and focused consultation to early care and education providers and families of young children to support children's emotional wellbeing and effectively manage challenging behavior. Services may be requested by families, Head Start programs, licensed child care centers, licensed family child care providers, public school educators, and afterschool programs.

ECCP® is currently available in the following counties: Androscoggin, Aroostook, Cumberland, Hancock, Kennebec, Penobscot, Washington and York.

ECCP® will be expanding statewide in early 2023. OCFS will release more information about ECCP® expansion as it becomes available.
