John, our next big fundraising deadline is in just 2 days — but that’s not the only thing on our minds right now:
This year’s Democratic primaries are seeing an unprecedented avalanche of right wing and corporate Super PAC spending. The biggest new conservative spender this cycle is AIPAC’s Super PAC, called the “United Democracy Project” or UDP. They’ve spent roughly $20 million in Democratic primaries so far this cycle alone.
Some of our most progressive WFP champions are the prime targets of these deep-pocketed, outside groups, like Andy Levin (MI-11), Rashida Tlaib (MI-12), and Cori Bush (MO-01) – and they all have huge primaries over the next two weeks.
We’re doing everything we can to fight back against this onslaught of cash, get them across the finish line, and show that we can take on big corporate money and win. To do that, it’s really critical that we raise the remaining $19,214 we need to reach our July goal. Will you chip in $6 to pull off this major feat?

We’ve learned from this cycle that progressives can get outspent and still win. We saw it happen with WFP candidates Summer Lee and Jamie McLeod-Skinner when they defeated their corporate Democrat opponents and delivered huge wins for the Working Families Party.
But it’s one thing to be outspent 2-1 and something else entirely to get outspent 5-1 or 10-1. This kind of lopsided resource advantage is hard for anyone to overcome and we saw its devastating effect in other House races.
The good news is: there’s still time to change the dynamics of our upcoming competitive primaries. If we all pool our resources together, we can make this outrageous spending completely backfire and elect champions of working people.
Closing this $19,214 gap and hitting our July online fundraising goal will give us the power we need, but we’re counting on your support to get us there. Will you chip in $6 to help?
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
