Last month the Delaware Democratic Party submitted a bid to the DNC to become an early presidential nominating state. This would be a huge opportunity for Delaware, bringing national attention and droves of presidential candidates to our state every four years. 

DelDems are doing everything we can to make our case to the DNC. That's where you come in! Can you sign our petition to the DNC to show your support for making Delaware an early presidential nominating state?

No other state offers quite the same medley of diverse voters, vibrant political landscape, and legislative expediency that Delaware does, which makes us a perfect proving ground for presidential nominees. 

Delaware is a showcase state for Democratic leadership. In 2020, we welcomed our most diverse class of freshman legislators ever. As it currently stands, nearly 1/3rd of Democrats in Delaware’s General Assembly belong to a historically underrepresented group. Similarly, women make up 45% of the Democrats in our legislature.

This is an excellent opportunity for Delaware, so I hope you’ll help us!
