** Spectrum News 1: Vaccine Safety—Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. vs. Dr. Robert Riewerts

On December 8, Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles, CA, aired a segment called: “Safe-Vaccine Advocate Wants More Testing While Pediatrician Says It Is Safe” (with Robert Kennedy Jr., Chairman, Children’s Health Defense and Dr. Robert Riewerts, Chief of Pediatrics, Kaiser Permanente, Southern California).

Mr. Kennedy discussed the chronic disease epidemic among the “vaccine generation,” those born 1988-89 and after. He suggested that, because of the lack of safety studies on vaccines, we may be trading mild self-limiting diseases with chronic disease. RFK, Jr.: “I don’t think we should be coercing American citizens to take a pharmaceutical product that is untested, that has zero liability; and depriving them of their right to education if they do not take it, even though we don’t have the tests that show it is beneficial as a whole.”

** Testimony on MA Bills H.4095 and S.2359
------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you to all of the dedicated health freedom advocates who filled an auditorium in the Massachusetts legislature in opposition to Bills H.3999 and S.2359/H.4096 ,“The Community Immunity Act”. It was standing room only, with over 600 seats filled with concerned parents, professionals, and children despite a snowstorm early in the day and long delays waiting to testify.

While inclement weather cancelled flights and buses to the area preventing some advocates from being there in person, their written testimonies were added to the record. One of those was the testimony of internal medicine physician Meryl Nass, MD. Dr. Nass pointed out that, “The elephant in the auditorium today is Pharma profits. Dare I say out loud that our children’s arms and bodies are the delivery system for transferring money from the citizens of the Commonwealth to the pharmaceutical industry?”

** New Jersey Bills S2173 and A3818 “Exemptions from Mandatory Immunizations”

On Thursday, December 12, the New Jersey Senate Health Committee will hold a hearing on bill S2173 that would repeal the religious exemption to vaccination. If the bill passes out of the 10-member committee, it would advance to a vote before the entire Senate and Assembly, possibly as early as Monday, December 16. The text of the bill is identical to A3818.

S2173 would take effect immediately and would eliminate all non-medical exemptions. It would leave guidelines for medical exemptions to state health authorities. Judging by California, New York and Maine, such medical exemptions would be exceedingly narrow.
