I first won my seat on the same night Elaine won hers, and I've gotten to know her over the last four years as both a friend and a strong governing partner.

Elaine gets results, and she's fearless when it comes to defending our democracy. And John, that's exactly why the GOP is determined to beat her.

Elaine's district is rated as a toss-up by every major political forecaster. I want to do my part to help her prevail, and I know that every additional grassroots donation can go a long way in a close race.

I remember the excitement on Election Night 2018 when, after celebrating my own victory and watching returns throughout Virginia, I saw Elaine prevail by just over 6,000 votes. Her race had been a toss-up the whole way through — and this year is no different.

But VA-02 is now two percent redder after the latest round of redistricting. Every vote will truly matter come November, and Elaine needs the resources to ensure that her message breaks through over Republican attacks.
