Dear John,

I’m running for re-election in one of the country’s most competitive U.S. House races: Georgia’s 2nd Congressional District.

And with Republicans using dirty tactics — dark money, gerrymandering, and voter suppression — it’s an uphill battle. But with your support, it’s a battle that we can win.

Can you split $25 between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Georgia before our end-of-month deadline so we can defend the U.S. House and fight for Democratic progress?

Republicans are funneling millions of dollars into this race to fund their dirty tricks, attack ads, and misinformation campaigns. They launched an attack ad against me just this month.

We know what happens when Republicans win. They pack the courts with far-right radicals, conspire to overturn election results, and spread shameless lies and misinformation. They focus on making their mega donors happy and doing favors for their elite friends, leaving Georgians behind and left to suffer.

It is vital that we keep Georgia and the U.S. House blue.

I’m asking you to join us in this fight. So please, will you split $25 between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Georgia ahead of our end-of-month deadline to keep Georgia and the U.S. House blue?

Thank you,
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop
