Dear Health Advocates,
We are excited to see the progress that Senate Democrats have made in recent days on their budget reconciliation legislation, called the Inflation Reduction Act. There are a number of health policy priorities that we have been fighting for a long time to achieve in this legislation, including prescription drug reform and a three-year extension of APTCs. Once this bill is law, we will keep fighting to ensure the millions of Americans in the Medicaid coverage gap get the care they need to live their healthiest lives.
