School offers Ukrainian children some normalcy amid war.Sasha, 10, and Vanea, 14, are two Ukrainian siblings who attend a school in Moldova that is practically swelling with displaced students. As war broke out, Sasha, Vanea and their mother were forced to flee their home in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, and cross the border. In Burkina Faso, malnutrition rates soar as access to treatment becomes limited.As levels of food insecurity rise in Burkina Faso, so has the price of the Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) used to treat severely malnourished children — increasing by 16 percent in the past three months. This increase, due to the soaring costs of the ingredients used to make and fortify RUTF and the extra charges for transport, could have a devastating effect on children's health worldwide.
