Hi John, it's Christina, Trudy's daughter. I'm sure you're busy, but it'd mean so much to me if you could take a minute to read this email.
Watching your mom run for Senate is an experience unlike any other, and it's one I never thought I'd have. Make no mistake, my mom is a natural leader and finds her purpose in serving others, but she's never been someone with political ambitions. Her focus has always been on her family and her community.
But, John, the moment that she stepped on the stage to announce her campaign, I knew: My mom was built for this.
She's spent her entire life serving her community and loved ones, starting at the tender age of 13, when she volunteered at a local hospital as a candy striper. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for nursing, and she followed her dream to serve the St. Louis community as a registered nurse. She's continued her service as a children's advocate and a volunteer for vulnerable kids. Along the way she found time to be the best mom that I could have ever asked for.
And when the COVID-19 pandemic was devastating our community, she volunteered to vaccinate Missourians, administering hundreds of shots. Even during that terrifying, uncertain time, my mom stepped up to serve with a can-do attitude and not a whisper of fanfare, because that's just who she is, John.
When her family, her community, or her country needs her, my mom answers the call. She'll put in the hard work to make things better and care for people. She lives for service, not the limelight.
Now I'm no pundit, but I think that Washington could use more people like my mom. If you agree with me, can you make a donation to support my mom's campaign? Building a winning grassroots movement begins with people like you believing in my mom and investing in her campaign.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this email. Having your support really means the world to my mom and me.
– Christina
