I hate to email you again, but things have taken a dire turn.

YESTERDAY MORNING, I told you Kevin McCarthy raised $50 MILLION.

NOW, you need to know his top deputy Steve Scalise raised another $7.2 MILLION.

The race for the House Majority is down to a single point – and I REFUSE to let Republicans use their STAGGERING war chest to retake the lead and march back into power.

I know I ask a lot of you, but this is quite possibly my most urgent request. If we don’t close this dangerous fundraising gap by midnight, we could end up handing Kevin McCarthy the Majority and paving the way for another destructive Trump Presidency. I can’t bear the thought. Will you help with any amount in these final 48 hours? I can’t tell you how grateful I’d be for your help to break this tie, push my Democrats into the lead, and SAVE our House Majority from falling into Republican hands. >> [link removed]

It’s clear Republicans are out of touch with the American people.

It’s clear they’re too extreme to govern.

But as of 11am, it’s also clear they’re on a fundraising hot streak.

We can’t let that stand. So here’s my plan:

I’m personally calling on 18,000 Democrats to confirm their 2022 Democratic Membership. If 18,000 patriotic Democrats stand up before my End of Month Deadline and confirm their Membership, I could have the resources I need to MATCH Republicans’ fundraising and go toe-to-toe in every race that will decide the House Majority.
