On July 20th, Ukraine's first lady Olena Zelenska addressed the U.S. Congress and asked for additional weapons to defend the country. The day prior, she met with Jill Biden at the White House to discuss the effects of the war on the Ukrainian people, with particular attention paid to the suffering of women and children.
