Pinocchio Alert:

Politifact Illinois: Ives wrongly calls Casten's public town halls 'invite-only'

It's amazing that Sean's Republican opponent Jeanne Ives is trying to smear him with such an easily fact-checked lie. Sean's held twenty public town halls this year -- which is twenty more than his Republican predecessor held in the past twelve years.

But the reality is that Ives' extremist, right-wing views are much more dangerous than her lies. If elected, she'll work to repeal the Affordable Care Act, restrict access to Medicaid, overturn Roe v. Wade, oppose equal pay for equal work, and will be a stalwart ally of those who wish to weaken protections for LGBTQ Americans.

From her misleading attacks to her harmful agenda, Ives doesn't represent our district or our values -- but she has the backing of ultra-conservative Super PACs and national Republicans who are determined to take back Sean's seat.

We're only days away from our public year-end FEC fundraising deadline, and we're falling short of where we need to be to hit our crucial end-of-quarter goal. Will you chip in to help defend Sean's toss-up seat?

Extremism doesn't have a home in Illinois. Let's keep it that way,
