I’m ready to get to Congress to fight for our common good, but I can’t do that without you. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Hi John,

Yesterday, my team reached out to tell you about our $7,500 fundraising gap, and why we’re counting on you to help us close it. I wanted to take a moment to share with you why hitting this goal is so important to me and to our mission of defeating right-wing extremism in western Pennsylvania.

I got involved in this race because I believe in fighting for our common good, but what does that mean? To me, common good means putting people first.

It means having a government that builds the best infrastructure in the world, and having our union brothers and sisters building it. It means protecting the right to an abortion before we have right-wing legislatures banning it and putting people in prison. It means never again sending young Americans off to unnecessary wars. It means taking on the unchecked corporate power that’s killed our communities, hurt workers, and crushed small businesses. It means protecting the union way of life so that every worker in our region can form a union freely, with no more union-busting.

My opponent, Jeremy Shaffer, has no answers for the problems we’re facing. Truthfully, I don’t think he even understands the problems we’re facing. While folks in western Pennsylvania are struggling to put food on the table, he’s spending $1,000,000 of his own wealth to try and buy his way into Congress.

That’s why hitting our $7,500 goal is so important, John. I’ve pledged that this campaign won’t take a single penny from corporate PACs, and I’ve been endorsed by Let America Vote and End Citizens United for my commitment to running a grassroots campaign. So if we’re going to win in November, we have to work together to hit every single monthly goal.

So I’m asking, John: Will you take a moment to chip in to my people-powered campaign to help us close our $7,500 gap? We still need to raise $5,500 before Sunday night.

Thank you for your time,

Chris Deluzio
