The Supreme Court has refused to hear the appeal of a Kentucky abortion law in a major test of their emboldened conservative majority.

The Kentucky law forces every person who has decided to have an abortion to undergo an ultrasound of a fetal heartbeat narrated to them by their doctor. It is a procedure without a medical purpose, designed to shame, torment and stigmatize.
