Team,
Yesterday, I joined my sister in service, Rep. Katherine Clark, on the picket line at Harvard University.
Right now, more than 4,000 members of the Harvard Graduate Students Union-UAW are striking for fair pay, benefits, and stronger anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies.
Now, my team is collecting messages of support to share with the union members of the Harvard Graduate Students Union-UAW. Will you add a message of support to the workers at Harvard who are fighting for justice?

I joined these workers yesterday to show solidarity in their fight for a living wage and fair work conditions, and to call on Harvard to come to the table in good faith. These workers aren’t asking for charity or benevolence, but simply the rights and protections they have earned, and that every worker deserves.
Unions are vital to shifting power in the workplace and centering workers — whose rights and bodies have too often been exploited in the pursuit of increasing profits.
I was a hotel worker for six years. I know what it’s like to do work where people look through you, render you invisible — and I know how important unions are in ensuring that every worker is treated with dignity and respect by their employer.
Send a message of support to the workers at Harvard University who are striking for fair working conditions, a living wage, and to ensure justice for all workers. My team will put together some of the best responses and share them with the union members.

Thank you for being a part of this movement for justice.
In solidarity,
Ayanna Pressley
