Friend -
The stunning first images from the James Webb Space Telescope have captivated scientists and the general public alike. But there are implications far deeper than what can be seen at first glance--not about what's "out there," but about what we ought to be doing as a human species here on Earth, what ought to shape our future, and even more fundamentally, what these images imply about the nature of mankind: a creative being with the capability and responsibility to reach and develop those far-off worlds which Webb is so? tantalizingly showing us.
