It’s staggering -- that’s how many mass shootings there have been in the U.S. in 2019.  Several of them happened here in Texas, including in El Paso, Midland, and Odessa.

Lizzie went to Congress determined to prevent gun violence, and we’re proud that she helped advance a common-sense, bipartisan effort to stop guns make us safer.

We’re still in this fight, and will be for as long as it takes.

Our fight against gun violence seems endless in large part because the gun lobby still looms large over Washington.

In 2018, the NRA spent more than $1 million targeting Lizzie’s district and districts like it to make sure its interests were represented in Congress.

We were able to overcome the influence of the gun lobby last year because voters raised their voices and demanded change.  We need to keep raising our voices and keep fighting for change.

We’ve made real progress since Lizzie entered Congress, and we want to build on it.  But we need to defend this crucial seat to do it.  If you can, chip in a few dollars to Lizzie’s re-election campaign.
