This summer, there’s no escaping it. Whether at the pump, buying airfare, or scanning the news–we’ve all seen it and felt it. Gas prices reached historic highs. Politicians and pundits abound with theories about what and who is at fault and how to fix it. While gas prices are on the decline as I write this, they remain at over $4 a gallon nationwide.
Could the solution be as “simple” as a gas tax holiday?
Do we just need to drill more or release reserves from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve?
