America Is In A Recession, No Matter How Biden Tries To Spin It <[link removed]> - The current economic situation is the consequence of profligate federal spending financed by
printed money. Now, instead of acknowledging responsibility for their failed policies, the Biden administration chooses to play word games, just like they did with inflation. The latest of their verbal gymnastics is an attempt to redefine a ‘recession’ and deny the reality of the current moment. It adds insult to injury for hundreds of American families when the Biden administration engages in this Orwellian doublespeak. Make no mistake—while Biden officials debate the meaning of ‘recession,’ working and middle-class Americans have been living in one for months. Heritage Expert: EJ Antoni  <[link removed]>

Biden administration abandons biology. What’s next for parents? <[link removed]> - Lia Thomas was recently nominated as the NCAA “Woman of the Year.” Just one problem: Thomas is male. Yet neither the “progressive media” nor the Biden administration sees this as problematic. Thomas, a collegiate swimmer, declared to be a girl. The “woke” media wrapped him in praise when he exited the pool a Division I women’s champ earlier this year. Heritage Expert: Jonathan Butcher <[link removed]>

The SPLC Backs Woke History at James Madison's Montpelier <[link removed]> – The rubric <[link removed]> further states that American history should be approached in a “spirit of restorative justice,” and staff should undergo “significant and ongoing anti-racist training (which includes
interpreting difficult history, deconstructing and interrogating white privilege, white supremacy, and systemic racism, and engaging visitors on these subjects).” Montpelier seems to agree with the dubious and inflammatory contention that slavery is not just America’s original sin but our origin. The exhibits for children and those about the Constitution focus on race and slavery. There are no exhibits on James Madison’s accomplishments <[link removed]>. Telling a complete story of America means acknowledging not just the evils of slavery but also America’s significant contributions to the cause of human freedom. Sadly, the latter is sorely lacking at Montpelier. Heritage Expert: Brenda Hafera  <[link removed]>

The Administration and Congress Must Act Now to Counter the Worsening Military Recruiting Crisis <[link removed]> - Fiscal year 2022 is on track to be the worst
year for military recruiting in the U.S. Military readiness and capability are already affected. A recruiting shortfall translates directly to units with less combat capability. Without the necessary numbers of soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, and Space Force guardians, the most technologically advanced equipment is useless. Unless this trajectory—a true crisis—is corrected, U.S. combat units will continue with diminished strength at a time of increasing threats to U.S. interests. Military units are shrinking in size while the Administration and Congress dither. There are solutions to this crisis, but they require work, resources, and prioritization. Action must be immediate. It’s Time to Set Record Straight on Ectopic Pregnancies and Abortion <[link removed]> – The abortion lobby wants women to think that abortion is the best—or even only—option when it comes to lifesaving maternal care. To achieve that, the pro-abortion left continues to spread harmful lies and misleading talking points in public hearings and press releases. Under the guise of a fair and open debate, House Democrats held yet another hearing <[link removed]> on abortion on July 19 before the Energy and Commerce Committee’s oversight and investigations subcommittee. The purpose of the hearing was to consider the effects of pro-life laws on women’s health in the wake of the Supreme Court’s June 24 overruling of Roe v. Wade in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Heritage Expert: Emma Waters <[link removed]>
Republican AGs sue US agency over LGBTQ school guidance <[link removed]> - In the same way that a TN federal court just halted
enforcement of the Department of Education’s “technical assistance”/informal guidance on Title IX’s expansion of “sex discrimination” to include discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, thereby returning the Department of Education to its Trump-era position on Title IX until a new rule is formalized, these attorneys general are hopeful
the same result will be reached with their suit against the USDA, an agency that also enforces Title IX in federally funded schools. This administration has made sexual politics its raison d’etre and this federal lawsuit is the newest brick in the wall separating America from Biden’s runaway Administrative state. At the President’s request, the federal government has taken the 2020 Supreme Court decision, Bostock v Clayton County (which held that Title VII’s prohibition against sex discrimination in employment also included discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity) and run with it, this second lawsuit in 2 weeks will hopefully force the White House to reconsider its
attempts to usurp congressional lawmaking authority, and shoehorn its radical agenda through American public schools. Heritage Expert: Sarah Parshall Perry  <[link removed]>
Fact-Checking 6 Claims About Life After Roe v. Wade <[link removed]> - When the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade on June 24, Americans went to their computers to find out what life was going to be like in a post-Roe America. From June 23 to 24, Google trends show a 98% increase in searches for the phrase “abortion rights.” And June 23 to 25 saw a 99% jump in those searching for an answer to the question, “Is abortion illegal?” As Americans asked questions, pro-abortion advocates began to warn society of the consequences of the Supreme Court’s decision to overrule Roe in its decision in
Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Heritage Expert: Virginia Allen <[link removed]>
