This is Fran Reilly, publisher at City Limits.

City Limits was launched in 1976 in the midst of the city’s fiscal crisis. We’ve been informing and empowering New Yorkers every day since then.

Today we’re proud that our work continues to have impact. Our reporters dig deeply into New York’s under-reported stories and cover communities that lack strong media voices.

Take, for example, our series on the challenges facing aging New Yorkers ([link removed]) , our reporting on how teacher absences affect lower-income neighborhoods ([link removed]) and our award-winning reporting on how crime witnesses in NYCHA buildings face obstacles when they seek safety.
